Governor Protocol

Govern the infrastructure that governs AI.

126 governors across 30+ countries hold one vote each - regardless of holdings. Ordinary passage is at least 51% of votes cast with quorum. Constitutional parameters use at least 67%. FG.001 passed at 52.94%. Do not flatten those into one number. They have held those thresholds for 1,800+ consecutive days without a single violation. The five live data centers are governed by that same math.

The governance record

The strongest proof of what a governor vote means is what governors chose not to do.

January 2022
āˆ’49%
Token price voluntarily cut. Peak bull market.
June 2022
āˆ’9%
Second voluntary cut. Extraction still available.
June 2022
āˆ’11%
Third voluntary cut. Same month.
In January 2022, at the peak of the crypto market, governors voted to raise the token price 41%. It barely passed at 52.94%. The reversal passed at 89.47% the same month. They voted to make their own holdings worth less. Three times. The people who held the most $STORE could have voted to make it worth more. They voted to make it worth less.

The Nash equilibrium is not a theory at STORE. It is a voting record.

What a governor does

One vote per governor
Regardless of holdings. The person with $10,000 in STORE has the same vote as the person with $1,000,000. The ceiling applies to governance weight - not capital.
Every monetary decision
Price changes. Supply parameters. TREASURIES rates. Infrastructure expansion. Every constitutional parameter requires +2/3 supermajority ratification.
Protocol rewards
Governors who participate in network votes earn from the dedicated 2% annual governance budget - via STORE Send. Every vote earns a distribution.
The one-third ceiling
No single governor above 33.3%. Enforced at the database layer - not policy. Maximum observed concentration: 0.8%. The math makes cooperation the winning strategy.

Leslie Lamport (Turing Award 1982): BFT: f = floor((Nāˆ’1)/3) = 41 at N=126 | attack requires f+1 = 42 governors simultaneously | cost = 42 × $10,000 = $420,000 minimum | max concentration 0.8% vs 33.3% ceiling

The path to governance

1
Acquire $STORE
$10,000 or more in STORE tokens. All purchases are SAFTs under Regulation D (U.S. accredited investors) or Regulation S (non-U.S.).

2
Participate in First Governance
A $10,000 purchase is a contract - not a coin and not a seat. 126 people vote today. A purchase does not add a 127th vote at checkout. A seat takes an election by people already on the roll.

3
Second Governance
Stake-based, auction-based governance. First Governance participants compete in quarterly auctions. Winning an auction bid is not a seat - a separate +2/3 election by existing governors determines seating. Second Governance has not yet launched.

The math across compute eras

Research is being finalized to extend the one-third ceiling into quantum computing - original patent filings are being prepared. The classical layer is live today: five data centers, 126 governors, 1,800+ consecutive days, zero violations.
